Once you're on Voomly's main screen, simply click the "Upload Video" button and navigate to the location of your Doodly video on your computer. Select the video file and watch as Voomly quickly uploads it, preparing it for the next steps in the process.
After your video has been uploaded, it's time to make use of Voomly's array of customization tools. To access these options, simply click on the "Customize Video Player" button and get ready to personalize your video to your liking.
When you're working on a video that requires a client's review, it's a wise move to add a watermark to it before submitting your work. If you want to direct your clients to a specific URL, simply add a hyperlink to your watermark. To do this, go to the Actions menu and select the On Click dropdown. Then, choose “Open URL” and enter the URL that you want your clients to be directed to, such as your company’s website address.
For this tutorial, we used Voomly.com as the URL. Once you’ve added the hyperlink, the watermark will be clickable and will direct your clients to the specified URL when clicked.
By default, the comments section in Voomly is turned off, but you can quickly turn it on to allow your clients to add comments to your video.
To enable comments, navigate to the Video Page menu and locate the toggle button for the comments section. Simply click on the button to turn it on, and your clients will now be able to provide their feedback directly on your video.
After you have customized your video with the watermark and any other features you want, it’s time to save and share it with your clients. Simply click the “Save” button to save your changes. Next, click on the “Share” button and copy the share link to your clipboard. This share link is what your clients will use to view the video and provide feedback.
When your clients open the shared link, they will see the video with the watermark you added. As they watch the video, they can pause at any point and add comments. Clients can link their comments to the current time in the video, making it easy for you to locate and address their feedback.
Once your clients provide feedback on your video, you can view their comments in the Video Page menu. You can respond directly to their feedback by writing a comment on Voomly’s Video Page screen. Your clients will be able to see your response, which makes it easier to collaborate and improve your content. The watermark you added to the video also functions as a clickable link, leading your clients to the specified URL and providing an additional layer of interaction.
