How to Download and Install Doodly

If you just recently purchased Doodly, planning to buy it, or you’re about to install the software, this article is for you. In this blog, we are going to look at the download and installation process of our animation software, Doodly. In addition, we will also check out the Doodly member’s website. Let’s get started.
To get started, head over to the website www.voomly.com/doodly and click “Order Now”.
Once you’ve completed your purchase, you’ll receive an important email containing your login details, download links, and other useful information. Make sure to keep this email safe and accessible for future reference.
1. Welcome Email
The welcome email contains the subject line, “Welcome to Doodly [Account information inside]”.
Now this email is very important because it includes your login details, download links, and other useful information.
a. Login Details
On the welcome email, you will find your login credential which contains your username and password.
Your username is your email address and the temporary password is alphanumeric. You can always change this into something you can easily remember once you’re already logged in to Doodly.
Tip:If you can’t find the email in your inbox, try checking your spam folder or do a search using the welcome email’s subject line.
b. Download link from the email
As you may already know, Doodly is now part of the Voomly Cloud. This means that when you receive the download link in your email, you’ll see “Voomly” in the URL. Simply use this link to download and install Doodly on your computer.

2. Downloading Doodly
When you’re ready to download, just CLICK the download link provided on the welcome email or simply COPY AND PASTE the link in your browser and start downloading.

3. Installing Doodly
Windows users will have an executable file downloaded with filename Doodly Setup (version).exe while Mac users will have a disk image with filename Doodly-(version).dmg.
a. Double-click Doodly’s .exe or .dmg file
Once the download has been completed, double-click to launch Doodly. By default, it is automatically saved in your Downloads folder so in case the file disappeared after it finished downloading, you can just go to the Downloads folder and launch it from there.

b. Agree on the License Agreement
When you click on the executable file or disk image to install Doodly, you’ll be presented with the end-user license agreement. To proceed with the installation, you’ll need to agree to the terms of the license agreement. Simply hit the “Agree” button to continue with the installation process.
c. Authenticate your account
The next step is to authenticate your Doodly account. To do this, click on “Login Via Voomly Cloud”. This will launch the login screen where you can enter your Voomly credentials to access your Doodly account.
d. Login Using Your Login Details
When you reach the login screen, you’ll be prompted to enter the email address that you used to purchase Doodly, along with your password provided on the welcome email. Simply enter these details and click “Sign in” to access Doodly.
Note:
After entering your login details, you may be prompted to complete a captcha to verify that you’re a human user and not a bot. This involves selecting specific images, such as bicycles or street signs, to match a given prompt. Simply select the correct images and click “Submit” to pass the captcha and access Doodly.
e. Confirm Login Intent
After successfully completing the captcha, you’ll need to confirm your login intent at the bottom left corner of the Doodly screen. Simply click “Yes, it’s me” to proceed to the end user agreement screen and start using Doodly.
Changing Password
Once you’ve successfully logged in to Doodly, it’s recommended that you change the default alphanumeric password to one that’s easier for you to remember. To change your password in Doodly, you can access your user settings by clicking on the dropdown menu located next to your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
On the “Password” tab, you’ll be asked to enter your current password, as well as your new password. To create a strong password, it is best to use passwords that are at least 8 characters long, and must contain a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. This will make your password more secure and harder to guess or hack.
After entering your new password, be sure to confirm it by re-typing it in the “Confirm New Password” field. Once you’re satisfied with your new password, click the “Save Changes” button to save your new password.
